Cua Lo tourism festival opens in Nghe An
VOV.VN - Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue kicked off the Cua Lo tourism festival 2019 with a beat of a drum in the central province of Nghe An on the evening of April 26.

Over the course of several years, the province’s tourism sector has achieved positive results with the number of tourists increasing by over 15 per cent annually. In 2018 alone, the province welcomed 6 million visitors, bringing in revenue of over VND7.4 trillion.
In the coming year, the locality is aiming to receive more than 6.5 million visitors, which would bring in revenues of VND8.6 trillion.
A representative from the local authorities noted that during this year’s summer season, Cua Lo town has set a target of receiving 3.15 million visitors, a 12.6 per cent increase over last year’s figures. This period alone would earn revenue of over VND3.4 trillion, a rise of 21 per cent.
The opening ceremony of the Cua Lo tourism festival 2019 also featured an art program and a firework display which proved popular with onlookers.
