China Southern Airlines reopens Shenzhen – Da Nang route
VOV.VN - China Southern Airlines’ flight CZ8155 carrying more than 170 passengers from Shenzhen, China, landed at Da Nang International Airport on the evening of October 2, marking the resumption of the air route between the two cities.

Passengers were greeted at the airport with souvenirs and treated to traditional Vietnamese cultural performances, showcasing the country’s rich heritage.
According to the plan, China Southern Airlines will operate six round-trip flights between Shenzhen and Da Nang during October 2025, specifically on October 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, and 22.
China has long been one of Da Nang’s key international tourism markets, consistently ranking second in the number of international visitors to the city. The resumption of the direct Shenzhen – Da Nang route is expected to boost the return of Chinese tourists, while also enhancing cultural exchange, international cooperation, and promoting economic and tourism development between the two destinations.

Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of Da Nang’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated that the city’s tourism sector would continue to carry out tourism promotion activities and restore flights from major Chinese cities to Da Nang in the near future.
The launch of the direct Shenzhen–Da Nang international flight holds great significance, creating new opportunities for cultural exchange, international cooperation, economic growth, and tourism between Chinese cities and Da Nang, she added.
“We will work closely with partners and Vietnamese businesses to promote and resume additional flights from China to Da Nang,” Hanh stressed.
