Saigontourist hotels have readied their culinary and entertainment programs and promotions to serve revelers during the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Rex Hotel will offer tasty meals with which diners can warm up in the cool days of December.
A Christmas party will be organized from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on December 24. Talented chefs of the hotel will highlight three special dishes for the party.
Guests can choose their favorite dishes served with different salads. Meanwhile, the gala dinner will feature flamenco bands and choirs.
Children may have the opportunity to receive gifts from Santa Claus. It costs VND2 million per person, including tax and service charge.
The hotel will also put on New Year’s Eve gala dinner buffet at Rooftop Garden Bar & Restaurant, which is considered one of the best bars in Southeast Asia, from 7 p.m. on December 31.
The buffet will feature fresh seafood, traditional dishes and tasty drinks only available in this festive season.
While waiting for the sacred moment to welcome the New Year, guests will enjoy exciting Latin rhythms.
The bar overlooking Nguyen Hue pedestrian square and the Saigon River is an ideal venue for admiring firework displays celebrating the New Year 2017.
It costs VND3.6 million an adult and VND1.8 million a child, including tax and service charges. One complimentary ticket is given to every 10 adult tickets bought and a discount of 10% for a purchase made before December 15.

Grand Hotel Saigon will welcome the festive season by hosting exciting gala dinners at two outlets – Saigon Palace Restaurant and Rooftop Grand Café – either indoors or outdoors.
Christmas and New Year’s Eve gala dinner buffets will take place at Saigon Palace Restaurant on the second floor on December 24 and December 31, respectively.
Both buffets will last from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Christmas gala dinner buffet will feature American-styled turkey, Australian beef tenderloin and baked lobster, among others.
Meanwhile, guests can watch a fireworks show on the 12th floor during the New Year’s Eve gala dinner buffet.
It costs VND1.89 million an adult and VND1.47 million a child for Christmas buffet and VND2.1 million an adult and VND1.29 million a child for New Year’s Eve buffet. Prices include beverages such as wine, beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
The hotel also hosts a buffet BBQ dinner at its Rooftop Grand Café on the 20th floor. Taking place on December 31, the buffet will last from 9 p.m. to 0:30 a.m.
Guests will taste grilled dishes, including fresh seafood, while enjoying firework displays with friends and family. Beer, cocktail, wine, soft drinks and water are complimentary. Tickets are VND2.3 million an adult and VND1.38 million a kid.

The hotel will hold a buffet program called “Christmas Melody” with more than 40 selected Chinese and Vietnamese dishes.
There will be also fun activities, such as Santa Claus giving gifts, lucky draws with big prizes and karaoke.
The buffet program will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on December 24 at the price of VND299,000 an adult and VND199,000 a kid.
