To ensure the product quality, Vietnam Airlines has applied supervision, inspection and quarantine procedures from gardens cultivated in line with VietGAP standards in Bac Giang and Hung Yen provinces. The harvested fruits will be kept in cool stores at temperatures ranging between 5-7 Celsius degrees before being transported to the airplanes.
Le Hong Ha, Executive Vice President of Vietnam Airlines said cuisine on flights is one of the cultural features attracting visitors, especially international arrivals. Vietnam Airlines’ passengers will have the chance to taste Vietnam’s delicious regional specialties on its flights.
Ha emphasized that the introduction of regional specialties on the airline’s flights will strengthen connectivity between aviation products and traditional cuisine, thus elevating the national identity to both domestic and international tourists.
