Bustling fishing activity around the ruined church in Nam Dinh

In the northern province of Nam Dinh, tourists should come and see the ruined church in Hai Ly Commune, Hai Hau District and witness the animated atmosphere of fishing activity at a seafood market around the church in the morning.

Around 120 kilometers from Hanoi City, the church which has been abandoned on the coast of Xuong Dien in Nam Dinh since 1996 is a charming place for tourists and photographers thanks to its rugged beauty and its perfect harmony with sea, sun, wind and white sand.

According to local residents, the area around the church was previously a convergence point of Catholics. However, they were forced to move to another place due to coastal erosion.
