Bustling atmosphere at Hanoi international tourism expo

VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) opened at the International Exhibition Centre in Hanoi on April 6, attracting a large number of visitors to book promotional tours and air tickets.

The statue of Kong, a character in the US movie Kong: Skull Island erected at a pavilion of TransViet Company, draws great attention from visitors.

Hundreds of people stand in line to buy cheap flight tickets at airlines’ pavilions.

Among more than 640 exhibitors registered at the event are 265 travel agents, 175 hotels and resorts, and 70 tourism management agencies, associations and promotion centres.

Pavilions of Hanoi, Hanoi Redtours, Hanoitourist, Saigontourist, and Vietravelare are decorated sophisticatedly and beautifully.

Prices of tours at the fair reduce by around 30% to stimulate tourism demands.

Provinces like Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Danang, Hue and Quang Nam jointly open pavilions to promote their emerging tourist destinations.

Specialities of each province and region are introduced at the fair.

Twenty-five foreign countries including the Republic of Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and the US join the event.
