Binh Thuan: Sand statue park seeks to lure visitors
Work on “Forgotten Land” sand statue park was launched in Phan Thiet city, the southern central province of Binh Thuan, on September 27, aiming to offer a new tourism product for visitors.
Meanwhile, Marielle Heessels, a Dutch sculptor, said she visited Vietnam for the first time and was inspired by people and nature here. She hopes her future works will enthrall tourists and locals.
On September 30, the first statue, a work of Marielle Heessels, Leonardo Ugolini from Italy and Enguerrand David from Belgium , will be unveiled.
The park is scheduled to open in late January 2017.
