Best views in Hanoi for photos during Lunar New Year festival

VOV.VN -  When the Lunar New Year festival (Tet) comes around, crowds of people eagerly ‘hunt’ for the most picturesque settings in Hanoi for beautiful photos during Tet.

     At this time of year, Nhat Tan flower garden is filled with crowds of young people and families visiting to capture images of spring blossoms to welcome the New Year. Entrance tickets at the garden cost between VND30,000 and VND50,000 each. 


    Red River Reef is a popular destination for people photography enthusiasts in Hanoi. It is only a 30 minute drive from the centre and is an ideal place of peace and tranquillity. When Tet draws near, colourful flowers such as gerbera, daisies, and cockscombs are in full bloom in the garden.


     Quang Ba flower market with its vast array of fresh and vibrant flowers and ornamental trees is usually open from midnight to 4am but is open to public all day during Tet. 

    Hang Ma Street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter is colourfully decorated with red lanterns and Lunar New Year’s gifts for Tet. Many people wear Ao Dai (traditional long dress) to take photos along the colourful street.
