ASEAN +3 Song Contest contestants experience tour of Ha Long bay

Cruise ships took delegates, guests, and contestants to a number of tourist attractions within Ha Long bay including the islets of Dinh Duong, Cho Da, and Ga Choi.

Yohei Hamabata, a guest singer of Japan, said this is his first visit to Ha Long bay and he was struck by the area’s stunning landscapes of green islands which feature majestic cliffs. He expressed his wish to introduce the wonders of Ha Long bay to the people of Japan.

During the trip, contestants have utilized the Vietnam Journey channel under the Voice of Vietnam to promote the ‘Green Tourism’ message to the community. The slogan urges people to limit their discharge of rubbish whilst also taking other actions to limit negative impacts on the environment.

Singer Pham Hung Thinh from Vietnam also underscored the necessity of taking actions to protect the environment and make tourist sites both cleaner and greener.

Contestants will continue their rehearsal for the semi-final of the ASEAN+3 Song Contest at 8pm at the Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Centre on July 27.
