A new footbridge in the imperial city

The new footbridge on the Huong River in Hue City, Thua Thien-Hue Province, is a highlight of the project on the walking street funded by the Republic of Korea's Government.

The bridge stretches 450 meters with reinforced concrete structure, ironwood floors and bronze railing. Since it was inaugurated in January, the bridge has become the imperial city’s new tourism spot attracting both local and foreign tourists.
A foreign couple enjoys a stroll on the bridge.
Some senior citizens pose for a photo with a stone column showing carved words about the walking street. The bridge project was supported by the RoK's Government through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOIKA).
The lingering sunset leaves a distinctive purple afterglow on the Huong River.
The bridge lights up at night.
