Vietnamese products find Poland as potential market

The trade value between Vietnam and Poland has increased constantly in recent years and Vietnam often sees a trade surplus with the market.

Vietnam’s key export products to the country are computers, electronic components, garment, steel products and seafood, while major imports are machines, equipment, pharmaceuticals and dairy products.

According to latest statistics from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Vietnam exports to Poland reached US$306.8 million in the first half of this year, up 2.53% compared to the same period last year.

In that period, machines, equipment and tools topped among export products to Poland with US$80.3 million, accounting for 26.1% of total export value (up 20.56%), trailed by electronic products with US$33.6 million (up 38.57%)  and coffee with US$21.5 million (up 29.37%).

Around 62.5% of export products to Poland saw a growth, of which footwear saw the highest growth of 50.24%.
