Vietnam lychee trade breaks export records in 2016

VOV.VN - 2016 has been a special year for the Vietnam lychee segment of agriculture, with exporters seeing a real upward shift in international sales of popular brands such as Luc Ngan, Thanh Ha and Bat Trang.

In mid-June, the lychee harvest in Bac Giang Province’s Luc Ngan district comes into full swing.

The district keeps close tabs on compliance with VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards.

As a result, we’re seeing a real upward shift in sales with more lychees sold in foreign markets, particularly Europe, say farmers.
