Vietnam Expo 2017 stays abreast with new market trends
VOV.VN - Around 750 exhibitors from 16 countries and territories presented their new product ranges at the 15th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2017) at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on December 6.
At the opening ceremony, Nguyen Van Nga a representative from the Ministry of Industry and Trade said the event is seen as an effective channel for trade promotion, helping policymakers keep abreast of the latest market trends. It also offers producers an opportunity to advertise their brands, expand consumption networks, and set up new cooperation partnerships.
Visitors to Vietnam Expo 2017 can easily find a wide range of booths showcasing the latest products, ranging from electronics, IT toys, industrial machines and tools, construction materials, home decoration, and household utensils, to food and cosmetic products.
One of the expo’s highlights is the Republic of Korea area drawing the participation of 140 Korean businesses, who mainly display products and services of particular interest to Vietnamese consumers like cosmetics, supplements and healthcare products.
Vietnam Hardware & Hand Tools Expo 2017 is running concurrently with Vietnam Expo 2017, with 200 exhibitors displaying their products across 250 stands.
The event boasts the presence of world famous brands such as BOSCH, SEALEY, ONISHI, YANASE, BRUNOX, NIKAWA, KNIPEX, MAKITA, and ABUS. It is seen as an excellent opportunity for domestic businesses to discover state-of-art technologies and strengthen cooperation with foreign partners to develop domestic production and support industries.
Many trade promotion programs and seminars on the support industry will be held during the two expos which will run through December 9.
