Vietnam contingent heads to China-ASEAN Expo
VOV.VN - The China-ASEAN Expo (September 11-14) is shaping up to be the largest and most robust since its inception, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) announced at a press conference on September 1 in Hanoi.

The Expo is co-sponsored by the 10 ASEAN member states and the ASEAN Secretariat and organized by the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China.
Now in its 13th year, the Expo has grown into an event of special international influence and plays an important role in promoting China-ASEAN friendly cooperation and building of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
The upcoming event is aimed at practically strengthening cooperation in industrial capacity, equipment manufacturing, economy, trade and investment among China, ASEAN and other countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt.
The Vietnam contingent, said Mr Hai, will participate in roughly 25 high end sideline conferences and forums, numerous trade and investment programs and cultural events in addition to the major program and events.
