Vietnam - attractive destination for Australian businesses

VOV.VN - Vietnam is the second most attractive destination in Southeast Asia after Indonesia for Australian businesses, said a representative of the Australia-Vietnam Business Council at a June 11 conference in Hanoi.

He said that Vietnam attracted Australian investors because of its political stability, dynamic market and government incentives for businesses, especially for foreign investors.

Over the years, trade between the two countries has constantly increased and the two-way turnover rate reached 5.26% last year.

The conference drew representatives from more than 70 Australian businesses in real estate, finance, high-tech, agriculture and education to seek trade opportunities and study investment environment in Vietnam.

In addition to improving the quality of products, Australian representatives said that, Vietnamese businesses should seek reputable partners in Australia to enter the Australian market effectively.
