Turning wood-forestry processing for export into a spearhead sector

Over the past years, the forestry industry has established itself as an important economic sector of the country. Notably, wood and wood products have become the sixth biggest currency earner of Vietnam, making the country the largest exporter of the products in ASEAN, second in Asia and fifth in the world.
