Trade and investment seminar held in Thai Nguyen
VOV.VN - A trade and investment seminar was held in the city of Thai Nguyen on November 10 by the Ministry of Science and Technology to inform interested parties about the business climate and opportunities there.

Mr Tung expressed his appreciation for the transnational companies already operating there and warmly welcomed new ones to join in to benefit, given the huge regional and neighbouring markets.
He expressed optimism that the seminar would lead to positive developments. Perseverance and decisions made on sound assessments, not on perceptions and hearsay would bear fruit he argued.
He urged participants to personally visit Vietnamese local companies in the region to meet their partners in business and prosperity and made a strong persuasive case for investment in the city and region with its myriad of opportunities for growth and development.
Within the context of globalization and emerging trade opportunities throughout Vietnam, he made a convincing case for the region as a reliable trading partner with immense potential to do business.
The participating companies showed keen interest in the region’s economy and asked many questions.
They said they were especially interested in doing business in energy-saving technologies, and waste treatment technologies to better cope with environment and pollution issues.
