Saigon Startup Fest registration opens
VOV.VN - Organizers have extended an invitation to all in the community to attend the Saigon Startup Fest, a business planning competition they’re hosting on March 12 at the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City.
The idea is simple, they said, “if we want to see the next generation of local businesses in Vietnam thrive, we have to make our community the kind of place where good ideas always succeed.
Startup entrepreneurs, especially those without a lot of money, need a community of business owners, professionals, and executives who’ll provide guidance and lend support of various kinds.
A mix of activities, workshops, conferences and a job fair are planned for the event, the organizers said, along with talks by representatives from Google, Microsoft, and Uber sharing interesting startup related topics.
Specific guest speakers include, Do Anh Minh, communications director of Vertex Ventures, Eddie Thai, investment partner of 500 start-ups in Vietnam, Do Son Duong cofounder of TOONG and Nguyen Phuong Anh, head of marketing Google Vietnam.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Visitors can register at https://www.getlinks.co/saigontechstartupfest.
