Int’l food expo opens in HCM City
(VOV) - The 19th International Exhibition on Food & Processing & Packaging Technology – Vietfood & ProPack Vietnam 2015 – has kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City at the Tan Binh International Exhibition & Convention Centre.
The exhibition, running September 9-12, combines the most relevant technologies and trends in the food and beverage packaging segments with the vision needed to successfully sell to consumers in this ever-shifting market landscape.
The event has attracted roughly 350 businesses from 20 countries around the globe including Denmark, India, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, and Japan.

Unlike any other event in the nation, the expo will offer critical discussion and ‘food for thought’ on how brand owners and their supplier partners can profit from successful packaging, said organizers.
Success in selling foods and beverages in the retail market is dependent on packaging that fits the needs of today's consumers and offers innovation that is embraced on the store shelves.
The annual event has been organized by the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Food and Foodstuff Association, Vietnam Beer, Alcohol and Beverage Association and Vietnam Tea Association.
