Deputy PM Dung inaugurates Lai Chau Hydropower plant
VOV.VN - Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung on December 20 inaugurated a hydropower plant in Lai Chau Province that has the capacity to provide 4.7 billion kWh of electricity to the national grid annually.
The plant cost US$1.6 billion (VND35,700 billion) to construct and is the 3rd largest hydropower plant in Southeast Asia. Above Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung arrives at the inauguration ceremony. |
Also, attending the ceremony are leaders of ministries, departments and central agencies along with representatives of the local Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Son La governments. |
