ASEAN agriculture and food forum to take place in Hanoi
(VOV) - The Responsible Business Forum on Food and Agriculture, under the theme ‘ASEAN Beyond 2015: Collaboration for Equitable Growth’ will be held in Hanoi from June 23 – 25.
The forum is organised in partnership between Global Initiatives, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Around 350-400 participants including 150-200 international delegates who are ASEAN ministers of agriculture, forestry and fishery, the ASEAN Secretary General and representatives from international organisations, NGOs and businesspeople will discuss improving the productivity and sustainability of key agricultural commodities, namely aquaculture; dairy; coffee; corn; rice and tea.
They will share information and make recommendations for increasing agricultural productivity, whilst improving rural livelihoods and reducing environmental impact.
