(VOV) - A Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) delegation, led by Chairman Nguyen Van Rinh, has paid a working visit to Australia to further AO victims’ campaign for justice in Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand.

The Hanoi Association of Victims of Agent Orange (AO)/Dioxin has set a target of raising about VND7 billion this year to help AO victims. 

(VOV) -An exhibition in Seoul is displaying photographer Lee Jong-hun’s portraits of Agent Orange (AO) victims, taken during his 1,750km trans-Vietnam tour last November with 20 other Vietnamese and Korean cyclists.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has emphasised the need to drastically and effectively settle the consequences of unexploded ordnance (UXO) left from the past wars.

(VOV) - Germany will provide Vietnam with US$1.3 million to clean up mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) in the central provinces of Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue and Quang Binh this year, according to the German embassy in Hanoi.

(VOV) - The American non-profit organisation, Soldier’s Heart Initiative, has conducted charity activities across Vietnam aimed at healing American war veterans’ souls and delivering a message of peace and love.

(VOV) - An exchange programme was held in Hanoi on January 10 for Vietnamese and US veterans and writers, aimed at healing wounds from the past war.

(VOV) - President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) Vu Xuan Hong on January 2 received a delegation from the Soldier’s Heart Initiative (SHI), led by President Edward Bryan Tick.
