Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has urged peaceful dialogues to solve outstanding problems on the Korean Peninsula, especially regarding the Cheonan ship accident.

ASEAN leaders adopted three statements at their 16th summit in Hanoi on April 8-9, showing strong commitment to accelerating implementation of the ASEAN Charter and the Roadmap for an ASEAN Community.  

ASEAN heads of State began their two-day summit in Hanoi on April 8 with the aim of setting forth directions and solutions to accelerate intra-bloc cooperation and bring the ASEAN Charter to life.
