In a year marked by significant milestones for both nations, the Vietnam Film Week in Laos has served as a meaningful cultural bridge, according to Do Quoc Viet, Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema under the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The opening ceremony of the Vietnam Film Week – The Journey of Light took place on at Le Grand Rex, the largest cinema in Europe and a cultural icon of Paris, on the evening of December 5.

VOV.VN - A press briefing for the “Vietnam Film Week-Journey of Light” recently took place in Paris with the participation of Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang; AVSE Global President Prof. Nguyen Duc Khuong; President of the Vietnam Film Dvelopment Association (VFDA) Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan; together with numerous artists, filmmakers, and media outlets from both countries.

VOV.VN - A range of activities, including a workshop, a grand meeting, and a special art programme, will be held over the coming days to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Outline of Vietnamese Culture – the first platform on culture launched by the Communist Party of Vietnam.
