Three international undersea cable lines that make up the majority of Internet connection capacity from Vietnam to the world have encountered problems, resulting in sluggish Internet speed across the country, according to operators.
The Asia-Africa-Europe 1 (AAE-1) undersea fiber optic cable had a problem on the S1H section on September 4, affecting internet connection from Vietnam to Singapore.
International internet traffic and speed in Vietnam have been back to normal after repairing work on the Asia America Gateway (AAG) undersea cable was completed.
Repairs to the Asia Africa Europe 1 (AAE-1) undersea fiber optic cable will be delayed to July 1 and expected to complete six days later, according to the managing board of the cable.
