Vietnam’s shrimp exports are receiving positive signals from its two largest markets, China and the US, creating momentum for the sector at the start of 2026.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien ordered localities, especially those in Mekong Delta, to focus on developing the supply chain and high-quality larvae so as to improve shrimp values and sustainably broaden the sector.
Participants at a conference in the Mekong Delta province of Ca Mau on December 11 looked into the development of the shrimp sector and solutions to ensure its sustainability.
