The Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese bilingual school has positioned itself as a prestigious education establishment, nurturing generations of Vietnamese and Lao students while preserving Vietnamese culture and language as well as strengthening the special bonds between the two countries, according to a diplomat.

The Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese bilingual school kicked off the Spring Culinary Fair 2025 in Vientiane on January 3, celebrating the vibrant traditions of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) in an atmosphere bursting with colour, music and the enticing aromas of Vietnamese cuisine.

An art programme featuring performances of artists and students from the Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese bilingual school took place in the Lao capital of Vientiane on December 19, marking the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival.

Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Hoang Cong Thuy had a meeting with outstanding teachers and students of the Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese bilingual school in Hanoi on August 23.

A ceremony was held at the Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese bilingual school in Vientiane, Laos, on January 30 to present aid to its teachers hit by the COVID-19 pademic.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Laos in coordination with the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Vientiane on February 11 presented scholarships of Ton Duc Thang University in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City to 10 students of Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese Bilingual School.
