Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a teleconference with representatives of the 63 cities and provinces on April 20 to launch the National Master Plan for 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, contributing to building a strong and prosperous country, and well-being of the people.
Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung presented a report on the National Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050, following the opening of the 15th National Assembly’s second extraordinary meeting in Hanoi on January 5.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has signed a resolution on the national master plan for 2021-2030, with a vision towards 2050, which will be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.
Vietnam targets becoming a developing country with modern industry and upper middle income by 2030, and a high-income developed nation by 2045, said Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung.

The Government has issued Decision 143/NQ-CP approving the tasks of making the national master planning in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050.
