Nearly 100 tonnes of fresh fruits and vegetables from Vietnam have been airlifted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by Lulu Group International, marking a new step in expanding the presence of Vietnamese farm produce in the Middle East market.

VOV.VN - The Lulu Group of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) plans to increase the import of Vietnamese products, including fresh fruits, processed foods, seafood, household appliances, garments and textiles, and fast-moving consumer goods.

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked Lulu Group to continue to promote and introduce more potential Vietnamese products that are suitable for consumer tastes to approach and serve the UAE market as well as the Middle East and other markets in the group's hypermarket chain across the globe.

VOV.VN - Shehim Kottilingal, regional director of LuLu Saudi Hypermarkets L.L.C., has proposed that the Vietnamese Government research opening a direct flight from Saudi Arabia to Vietnam in order to boost the Southeast Asian nation’s export of fresh food and fruit and vegetables.
