The Tan Cang - Moc Bai inland container depot (ICD) (Phase 1) was officially put into operation at the Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone in the southern province of Tay Ninh on December 18, marking an important step in the development of logistics infrastructure and cross-border trade between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Logistics services are driving up added values of the domestic agriculture sector which has been developing quickly over the past years with an annual growth rate of 14-16%.

The development of seaports is to be prioritised over the next three decades to meet increasing demand in shipping services, according to Nguyen Xuan Sang, director of Vietnam Maritime Administration under the Ministry of Transport.
