VOV.VN - Vietnam will require roughly US$28 billion to finance its green transition through 2030, a senior finance official said on November 26, as the government prepares a major medium-term fiscal and budget plan for 2026–2030 worth more than VND 8 quadrillion (US$320 billion).

Vietnam needs international support, financial cooperation, cutting-edge technology and high-quality personnel to serve its green transition, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told a business forum in Dubai on December 2.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai suggested Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) invest in high-tech, green transition, clean energy and renewable energy in Vietnam at a reception for its Chief Executive Officer Shayne Elliott in Hanoi on November 29.
