The Hanoi People’s Committee held a ceremony on January 29 at Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature) in Hanoi to receive UNESCO’s recognition of the capital as a member of the Global Network of Learning Cities.

Ho Chi Minh City and Son La city in the northern mountainous province of the same name have joined the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) as announced by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on February 14.

VOV.VN - UNESCO has named Cao Lanh city in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap among the Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC), alongside 76 other cities from 43 countries worldwide.

Two Vietnamese cities have joined the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC), along with 53 other cities from 27 countries.
