Exporting fresh fruit in the context of China implementing Decrees 248, 249 and strengthening cold-chain food imports control were the topics of discussion at a workshop in the south central province of Binh Thuan on August 19.

Vietnam and China are negotiating to develop phytosanitary protocols for eight kinds of Vietnamese fruits exported to China.

Vietnam has great potential to increase fruit exports to the US in the future, said Hoang Trung, director of the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
