VOV.VN - The Hanoi GM and IM Chess Tournament 2026, jointly organized by the Vietnam Chess Federation and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, got underway on December 31 at the Future Grandmaster Chess Club in Hanoi.

VOV.VN - A total of 120 Vietnamese players will compete at the 22nd ASEAN+ Age-group Chess Championships 2024, scheduled to take place in Vientiane, Laos from August 21 to 31.

Vietnam will host at least four chess competitions of the Hanoi International Chess Series in 2024, which will deliver world point ranking for successful masters.
