Taking full advantage of incentives for farm produce from the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) in the new context was the theme of a seminar held in both in-person and online formats by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) in Hanoi on September 8.

The Hanoi Railway Transport JSC on July 16 announced that it is transporting the first containers of farm produce from Song Than station in the southern province of Binh Duong to Dong Dang station in the northern border province of Lang Son for transshipment to China.

With the ongoing recovery momentum of agro-forestry-aquatic product exports in recent months, the export turnover of the sector is expected to enjoy a rebound and achieve growth again from the fourth quarter, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed an official dispatch on the implementation of urgent measures to settle goods congestion and promote the export of farm produce through northern border gates.
