VOV.VN - Marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s disaster prevention and control day (May 22), Party General Secretary and State President To Lam has called for stronger forecasting, early warning, and disaster response capacity as Vietnam faces severe climate change impacts and extreme weather conditions.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has been tasked with building and operating an early warning system for trade defence to detect potential lawsuits from foreign countries initiating trade remedy investigations against Vietnamese exports.
Thanks to free trade agreements with tariff barriers gradually being removed, the exports of Vietnamese products have been on the rise. However, they are likely to face trade defence lawsuits.
