The Ministry of Industry and Trade’s National Competition Commission and the British Embassy in Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on consumer protection on March 25 as part of the ASEAN-UK Economic Integration Programme which aims at enhancing renewal, economic development, and sustainable development.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will focus on enhancing consumer protection in order to maintain sustainable e-commerce development, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien said at the National Assembly’s question and answer session on June 4.
