The 2025 cashless payment value in Vietnam was estimated at about 28 times the country’s GDP, far exceeding Government targets, according to a report released by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on February 2.

With nearly KRW200,000 in each per-capita card transaction, Vietnamese tourists spent the most among international visitors to the Republic of Korea (RoK) in 2022, according to the RoK’s credit card and financial service company BC Card.
