Vietnam is entering a new stage of development in which innovation and strategic technologies will serve as the key driving force, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung affirmed while addressing a working session with the Vietnam Innovation Network (VIN) and Vietnamese experts on November 26.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has signed Decision No. 1903/QD-TTg approving a plan to cut and streamline administrative procedures related to production and business activities under the management of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Total revenue of the information and communications technology (ICT) sector is estimated at nearly US$65 billion in the first half of 2021, up 22% year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Information and Communication.
