With the Law on Artificial Intelligence entering into force on March 1, 2026, the debate has moved beyond whether to embrace the technology to how best to develop and deploy it in a systematic, effective manner tailored to national circumstances.

The association of Vietnamese experts of science and technology in Sweden was set up at a ceremony in Stockholm on June 29, aiming to connect and promote the potential of Vietnamese scientists in the host country.

Technology experts and businessmen have so far submitted 758 initiatives to the Vietnam Innovation Challenge, which seeks innovative solutions from domestic and international organisations and individuals to tackle key national challenges on its path towards prosperity and sustainable development.
