Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has signed a decision approving the sports development strategy until 2030 with a vision to 2050, with an aim to promote the sector in a sustainable and professional direction.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikolaos Dendias presented EUR50,000 (US$51,186) to the Vietnam Sports Administration under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism during his visit to the Southeast Asian nation on August 1.
