The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) will conduct a wage survey at 3,400 enterprises with 6,800 labourers to serve as a foundation for the adjustment of the regional minimum wage in 2025.
The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has proposed delaying a salary negotiation meeting until the fourth quarter of 2023 because there is not enough scientific and practical basis to propose a time to adjust the regional minimum wage.
A new decree raising the regional minimum wage for labourers was approved on June 12 by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh.
The National Wage Council agreed to raise region-based minimum wage by 6% from July, during its working session on April 12.
