Vietnam remains committed to a balanced and people-centred approach to migration governance, said Phan Thi Minh Giang, deputy director of the Consular Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the second International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) recently held at the UN headquarters in New York.

An official of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has said she is impressed with Vietnam’s efforts in migration governance, and that the country’s dynamic approach, has provided valuable lessons for others globally.
