VOV.VN - The depletion of fossil fuel sources such as coal, oil, and natural gas has made the rapid transition to new energy sources an urgent necessity to sustain growing demand.

The Vietnam Motor Show 2024 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from October 23-27, featuring green energy initiatives, organisers announced at a press conference on September 26.

The UK – Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA) is opening significant opportunities for enterprises from both sides to enhance cooperation in green energy transition and digital transformation as the Southeast Asian country strives to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on November 18 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on establishing a strategic partnership for 2021-2024 to promote renewable energy development, and help PetroVietnam achieve targets in green energy transition.
