Domestic airfares in Vietnam have risen by 15-20% on average as a fuel supply crunch linked to conflicts in the Middle East drives up costs, airport operator Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) said in a newly released 2025 annual report.
The Ministry of Transport has ordered better control and management of airfares from State agencies, including the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), the Transport Development and Strategy Institute (TDSI) and the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).
Domestic airfares have been cooling down, with the prices on many routes even halving as compared with those during the National Reunification (April 30) and May Day holidays.
