VOV.VN - Vietnam's import value of completely built-up (CBU) vehicles and auto parts reached US$4.22 billion during the four- month period of 2026, up 36% year-on-year, or US$1.12 billion from a year earlier, according to Vietnam Customs.
VOV.VN - The nation spent more than US$314 million on importing 14,500 completely built-up (CBU) cars of all kinds in January, marking a steep rise of 219% in volume and nearly 150% in value on-year, according to statistics from the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
Vietnam posted an all-time high import of automobiles with 173,467 units valued at US$3.84 billion last year, surpassing the previous record of about 160,000 units in 2021, reported the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
Vietnam imported over 63,730 completely-built-up (CBU) cars worth some US$1.6 billion between January and June, dipping by 21.4% in volume and 14.4% in value year-on-year, according to data of the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
