VOV.VN - The Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Embassy of Switzerland in Vietnam, will host a conference in Hanoi on December 16 to review the Swiss Trade Policy and Export Promotion Programme (SwissTrade), funded by the Swiss Government, marking five years of cooperation in support of sustainable export development for Vietnamese businesses.

VOV.VN - The International Trade Center (ITC) has made a strategic report for Vietnam's five priority export sectors, including electronics, eco-friendly goods, wood and furniture, agriculture, and garments and textiles.

The Innovation and Competitiveness Grant Facility (ICG Facility) of the SwissTrade programme will providing 10 – 15 selected small grant projects with funding of up to US$150,000 each during a period of 12 – 24 months, heard a conference held in Hanoi on July 25.

VOV.VN - The first half of March saw Vietnam's overall export turnover reach US$15.32 billion, marking a sharp increase of nearly 76% over the same period from last month, while import turnover hit roughly US$15.23 billion, a rise of 20.3%, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC), held a virtual workshop on March 16 to seek consultation on priority sectors and areas in developing the national export strategy.
