Vietnam has great potential to increase fruit exports to the US in the future, said Hoang Trung, director of the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Vietnam views the US as an important partner in the field of agriculture, stated Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan at a working session with representatives from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Washington D.C. on May 11.

The draft Strategy for Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development for 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050 will promote the achievements that have been obtained and at the same time solving problems that have still existed in the agriculture sector.
