The Consulate General of Vietnam in Luang Prabang province of Laos, in coordination with the Overseas Vietnamese Assocation in Oudomxay province, organised a ceremony to mark the Day for Honouring Vietnamese Language on September 4.

The Consulate General of Vietnam in Laos’s Luang Prabang province has coordinated with eight northern Lao provinces to organise a ceremony reviewing the Vietnam-Laos and Laos-Vietnam Year of Friendship 2022.

Vietnam’s capital city Hanoi has presented US$20,000 to Luang Prabang province of Laos to help with the Lao northern province’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Several organisations and units of Laos have offered financial donations to the Vietnamese Government and people to support their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
