The 15th National Assembly passed the first-ever Law on Artificial Intelligence (AI), alongside the Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Law on Intellectual Property, and the revised Law on High Technology during the ongoing 10th session in Hanoi on December 10.
Deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA) held group discussions on the draft Law on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the morning of November 21 as part of their ongoing 10th session.
The draft Law on Artificial Intelligence, the first of its kind in Vietnam which is being discussed at the 15th National Assembly’s 10th session, is expected to help establish a legal foundation to promote the research, development, application, and governance of AI in a safe, responsible manner, once it is approved.
The draft Law on Artificial Intelligence was among items under consideration of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee at its ongoing 51st session on November 17.
